Introducing Cheryl Blackey

Real Estate Consultant to Ken Neal and Pierre Campagne.

Cheryl was born in Victoria and has lived most of her life on Vancouver Island. Cheryl and her husband Dave moved to the Cowichan Valley in 1987 and have loved it ever since. Cheryl knows how important choosing the right area to raise your family is. Cheryl has knowledge about local schools, recreation, and most important, real estate values.

Prior to real estate, Cheryl worked for the Provincial Government for many years. Starting out in the Ministry of Finance, advancing her way to Administrative Assistant to the Conservation Officer Service. When taking several years off to raise her children, Cheryl worked part-time in educational toy sales. Her customers came to trust her knowledge and honest approach, as they do now in real estate. Now married over 25 years, and the proud parents of grown children Lia and Matt, Cheryl spends her leisure time hiking with Dave (and his camera) as well as Walker, their golden retriever.

Cheryl was invited to join Ken Neal & Associates as their third fully licensed realtor in January 1999. Cheryl has been licensed in the Cowichan Valley since December 1991 and has earned the respect of the Real Estate Community as a consistent producer with a strong work ethic and high technical knowledge.

As a Real Estate Consultant, Cheryl has the same qualifications, education and insurance as other realtors in the area, but she operates under Ken Neal and Pierre Campagne's names.

Cheryl's primary work is with purchasers as a buyer's specialist . She has a comprehensive market knowledge and is well deserving of the trust and confidence her buyers have in her. Cheryl's patient, low key approach and excellent negotiating skills have proven a perfect combination for her buyers. When the buyer has decided to make an offer to purchase a home, Cheryl will carefully evaluate the property to estimate the true market value and prepare a well written offer to cover any potential concerns of the buyer. Once the negotiating is done, Cheryl leads the buyers through all aspects of the purchase including property inspections, financing direction, title research, and anything else that is needed up to and beyond the closing.

Cheryl is very capable in all aspects of the business including listing properties for Ken and Pierre, receiving and negotiating offers, subject removals, and all other matters relating to Real Estate transactions.
