The Cowichan Valley Real Estate market continues to be very strong as we enter 2008. The average sale price of a single family home for 2007 was $350,008, up 14% from the previous year.
Strong demand and low interest rates continue to fuel the Real Estate market.
While prices have increased over the past year, the Cowichan Valley is still an excellent choice for affordable housing.
The Valley continues to be an attractive area as it is located within an hours commute to Victoria and Nanaimo. We continue to see a high number of young retirees relocate to our community to take advantage of low prices. Similar houses are often over $100,000 less in the Cowichan Valley than in Victoria.
The Cowichan Valley features several world class golf courses, fine recreational lakes, and great ocean side communites.
